We were so inspired last year, that in April, Natalie planted her own sunflowers at Mimi's house.
They finally got too big for the pot and we split the batch. Half stayed there and the other half came to our house. You can see them to the left of the door by the house.
Both "crops" did really well and got over 8 feet tall!
It was very fun to watch them grow and I definitely want to plant more next year.
I drove to Shaws this morning and did not see one sunflower field. The ones in Harford County seem to be missing this year. So where are the fields you found?
