A Meet & Greet Weekend
Everyone came up this weekend to meet and greet all the new babies. Eric, Katie and Anna came from Richmond and Mom and Dad from North Carolina. Anna is only 5 weeks older than Danny.

Tropical storm Danny
Is this the face of a tropical storm?

From the weather service:
"As Bill weakens and races into the north Atlantic, a new disturbance may become TS Danny".

This is kinda funny, because the first Hurricane of this season was Hurricane Anna. And this certainly is no hurricane:

All we need is a Hurricane Natalie and we'll have all the kids covered!!

Day 5
Ok, so I've had a lot of complaints that I'm not posting enough pictures. Some people even said they wanted Holly to take over my blog because she did such a great job! By the way, a big thank you to Holly for keeping everyone up to date.
We are home and trying to get into a routine, but things are still a bit blurry. Here are just a few misc pictures from the past 5 days.

I had the pleasure of spending some one on one time with Danny this afternoon. Let me tell you all, he is just the sweetest little baby you will ever meet! He is so peaceful and sleepy and snuggly!! He makes some of the cutest little faces while he's fast asleep too.
Here are a couple of pictures I snapped of him while he was enjoying a nap:

Carrie hopes to be able to go home tomorrow but at the latest they will be discharged on Sunday.

Progress!
Hi Again,
Carrie texted me around 8:45 with an update. She is now 5cm dilated, 75% effaced and her water broke at 7pm. She got an epidural around 7:45 and her contractions are around 2 to 3 minutes apart!
Looks like Baby Boy wants to see the Raven's in action for their 1st pre-season game!
I will update as I get more info but I suspect my next post will contain a very sweet picture of a very special little boy.
Keep checking back!

Ready or Not!
This is guest blogger - Holly!
I am going to be keeping you up-to-date on the birthing of little boy Badour!
Carrie had a doctors appointment today ~ she is 4cm and having contractions - her doctor told her to go home, pack her bags and meet her at the hospital!
Here she is moments before leaving for the hospital:

Happy laboring Carrie - we can't wait to meet your little guy, shortly!

I'm a Soccer Mom!
Tonight we took Natalie to her very first soccer practice. They handed out the uniforms which happen to be purple so they've named themselves the Ravens. Pretty cool.
The team intro, and yes, she's the only girl on the team

Huddled up

she looks like she might just get the hang of this

our future Mia Hamm

Stay tuned for more pictures. We just practice in August, the games start in September.

At the Dog Wash
Have I been living under a rock? Does everyone know that most local pet stores have a dog washing station? I was so excited to see that in our local pet store was a coin operated dog wash. Basically you bring your dog, a towel and some $$$, and away you go. No muss, no fuss.

The trusty assistant:

Everything was going great and we were so excited. That is, until Daisy pooped in the parking lot as we were walking her back out to the car. Nice. But I guess it could have been worse, she could have pooped in the store. Luckily I had some grocery bags in the car and we got everything cleaned up in no time. Can't take her anywhere.
On our "List of things to do before baby arrives" list, is wash dog. Well we can proudly check that off now.
