More baptism

I stole some pictures from Eric and Katie's blog so I now have action shots of Anna's baptism. My parents were in charge of photographing and let's just say they aren't that swift with the camera (no offense Mom and Dad!), so I was a little worried as to what we'd end up with. But they proved me wrong!

Water pouring on head - check!

Candle ceremony - check!

Group shot of parents/godparents - including the godsister - check!

And here are just more fun shots from the rest of the weekend.

Anna's new thing is honking noses. Natalie was very patient with her when I know she really wanted to honk back.

More pictures can be found on Katie & Eric's blog. Thanks for loading them up Katie. Sorry to call you out for all of blogger-land to hear.

Anna's Baptism

We spent the weekend in Richmond celebrating Anna's baptism.

Greg and I are honored to be her Godparents.

We took a few pictures after the church service.

Apparently Greg and Danny are not pleased with my need to take pictures of everything.

Here are some happier faces.

Then we headed back to Katie's parent's house for some playtime.

Uncle Eric tried to help Danny practice his walking.

Alexandra was teaching Natalie how to play the piano. Or maybe it was the other way around?

While Natalie played the keys, Danny pushed the pedals.

I was hoping to have some more pictures from the actual baptism ceremony, but someone hasn't sent them over yet. Even though someone promised I would have them before I even made it home. I'm sure that someone is working on that right now! So I'll post those when they become available.

Who Knew?

Am i the only one who thought that the ice cream truck was a thing of the past? Well that's not the case. But is it creepy or cool?
I vote for cool so of course, who could resist?

Getting every last drop
I chose the 4th of July flavor

Wow - look at that tongue!

And here's what happens when Natalie takes pictures.

I think a cool treat is exactly what we needed after our second day of 100 degree temps. Ugh!

The pool, bowling and poo in blue

We've had a fun past couple of days. On Thursday, Holly let us tag along with her to her swim club. Zach and Natalie had a blast swimming and playing on the playground while Danny and Olivia hung out on the blankets.

Here's Zachary playing with Danny. He was so great with him.

And here are the kids together. Look - Danny is trying to hold Olivia's hand! We didn't even pose them like that.

Last night we met Brian, Ashleigh and Lilly for some bowling. The girls did surprisingly well.

These are two silly girls.

Karen was kind enough to share some of those new jean diapers with us. They look so cute. You might have to click on the picture to make it larger and see the little details.

Now he can poo in blue!

10 Months

Danny is 10 months! Rather than the traditional crawl, he uses an army crawl to get everywhere he needs to go. And he's quick! We've been putting off using the baby gates, but we can't hold out anymore. I feel like his name is going to become "Danny NO" because we are constantly saying things like "DannyNO, don't put the dog's tail in your mouth" or "DannyNO, don't pull on that cord" or "DannyNO - don't blow raspberries with a mouth full of peas".

And yes, he is wearing an Orioles outfit. Even though they are the worst team in baseball now, we still support the home teams.
Because maybe in 18 or so years he can do what his hiney says and become a future slugger.

And here's Natalie supporting the Ravens even in the off season.

Friday Randomness

Is randomness even a word? Anyway, here are some pictures from various times throughout the week.

Car-cart at Home Depot is always a favorite.

We got a new lightweight stroller and Natalie is tall enough to push. That's what sold me!

Danny now bites on the spoon when you feed him dinner. And won't let go. It was cute at first. Now just frustrating.

Tonight's dinner was "make your own sandwich night". This was Natalie's creation. It's chicken lunchmeat/chicken nuggets/cheese and pickle. Sounds de-lish.

She opened it up for the picture above. It really looked like this.

Speaking of eating, toe cheese anyone?

And that's about how our week went. How was yours?

Family BBQ

Last night we went to visit some of my family for a BBQ. Natalie gave a full recap of our trip to Disney to Grandpa Larry... And Aunt Dot ...

And David ... Then we went swimming. It was Danny's first time in the pool and he did great. The water was a little chilly so he didn't stay in long, but I think he liked it.

No swimming for Grandpa Larry, but he enjoyed watching all of us and our water gun fights. We'll have to do this more often!
