Fall Festivities

We bid farewell to soccer yesterday with the last game of the season. Team Spain has come a long way and Natalie has improved so much.

Danny continues to be her biggest fan.

Then it was time to bid farewell to some of her hair. It's been a long time coming and she cut off 6 inches without even flinching. This is the before.

And after. We think she's coming down with a cold so instead of picking our own pumpkins, we went to Brown's, our favorite farmer's market, to pick one off the shelf instead.

This is the best shot I got of the two of them together.

We are looking forward to next weekend with Halloween and Girl Scouts and other fun stuff.

New Activities

Natalie joined the Girl Scouts and Sunday was their first troop meeting. Here she is in her "Daisy" uniform. We often find our stairs looking like this.
And at the top, we then find this.
Danny gets such a kick out of throwing his toys down onto the landing. And Natalie is more than happy to sit at the bottom and give them back to him. He would play this all day if she was up for it.

And a shout-out to baby Katelyn who was born early this morning.

Congrats to Jenn and Chris on their new arrival!

Ravens ... bounce house ... and WALKING

Last Sunday Greg and I went to the game and tailgated with Liz and Ray.
Thank you SO much to Holly and Rich who watched the kids. The mini purple people enjoyed the weather and played outside before the game.
Natalie went to a bounce house birthday party with some of her classmates.
She got to box with Lauren and it. was. hysterical.

And we're pleased to report that at 14months, Danny is finally walking.

Cousin sleepover

Eric and Katie were in town for a wedding on Friday so we watched Anna overnight. Since Anna and Danny are only 5 weeks apart, it was almost like having twins. We had a diaper race - I won, but only because I changed the calmer baby. Changing Danny's diaper is more like a small wrestling match. Anna found all the best toys

And the kids took turns sharing.

Then we were up and at the soccer field first thing to watch Natalie play.

She seemed to enjoy herself.

Team Spain doesn't have the best record, but they have a lot of heart. And that's all the really matters, right? Or is that just what people say when they aren't winning?Either way, she's enjoying herself.

Then it was down to lunch with Grandpa Larry

Anna really did well and was so adaptable. She was the perfect houseguest.
