To the Theatre

This weekend the kids and I hit the road and headed down to Richmond for a visit with Eric, Katie and Anna. For Natalie's birthday, they bought us tickets to see Beauty and the Beast at the local theatre. By the time we got there Friday night, Anna was already asleep so I got to spend some quality time reading books with her first thing Saturday morning.

Then it was off for a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood to a nearby playground.

After a full morning of play, it was time to clean up and head down to the theatre. We also went with Katie's mom, who Natalie affectionately refers to as "Aunt Jan". This is funny because she is not her aunt, nor is she named Jan. She is Jane. Anyhoo...

Eric stayed behind with the two toddlers (bless his soul) and pulled them through the neighborhood in the wagon. He said they played outside, inside and overall had a great time. They gave hugs, high-fived and did a great job at sharing.
