Trophy Ceremony

She may be number 2 on the field, but she's number 1 in our hearts. Our soccer season has come to a close, and these are some pictures from the trophy ceremony.

Our star receiving her trophy. The team with Coach James
One final team cheer
The trophies are actually really neat. Not like the "gold" trophies from when we were little. These have soccer balls and cleats, each child's name is on them, and it's also a piggy bank!

We will definitely be playing again next year.

Fun with Leaves

As we were walking Karen and Hope to their car today, Natalie decided to have a little fun with all the leaves on the ground.

Playdate

Amanda, Emma, Karen and Hope came over this morning for a playdate. Danny did not know what to do with all these girls around him.

Natalie got Hope to giggle by making silly faces.

Emma and Natalie played store.

Emma loved Natalie's headlamp.

Karen and Amanda got some snuggle time in with Danny.

And with Hope too of course.

Karen also took pictures so be sure to check her blog later this weekend for the pictures. Thanks girls, for coming over, it was a fun time!

Sibling Stuff

As I was taking pictures this week, I just had this feeling that I had taken the same pictures already. But then it occurred to me, I hadn't taken the same pictures of Danny, but have the same pictures of Natalie. Is it me, or are these kids identical?

Can you guess which is which?

And here's some other random shots from this week. Greg did an awesome Snow White pumpkin.

And the pouty lip. So adorable.

Ravens and Pumpkins

Liz and Ray came up yesterday for the (heartbreaking) game. Liz gave Danny a bottle while Natalie told her exactly how to do it.

Greg with his Flacco/Cinderella daughter.
And with Danny. Check out Danny's face. He couldn't believe the ending either.

And some group shots

Then we moved onto the pumpkin carvings.
He thought carving a pumpkin was boring.

Now that is a scary face!
Everyone was hard at work. Look at the concentration!

And another cute hat from Mimi. What kind of smile is that??

Rain Rain Go Away

***Mum update*** Because I know you all care ... this is how my mums looked this morning, covered in SNOW!!! What??!!

Is this rain ever going to stop? It's been raining non-stop for the past few days with no end in sight. Pretty soon I'm sure we'll see animals marching 2 by 2 past our windows.

Look at what it did to my mums:

To any green thumbs out there -- will they stand back up when they dry out? Or are they now done for the season?
