Busy Weekend

We had a very busy weekend. Friday we had dinner at Willow's with her family. We all got a chance to practice holding a baby. Here we are with Baby Matthew.

Then on Saturday, we had a playdate with Ash and Lil at Ash's Mom's house where they surprised me with a little cake and some gifts for our new arrival. We got a kick out of the cake though ... gotta love the Klein's in Bel Air.

Then Mimi and Papa came up Saturday night and brought us dinner (no pictures). Thank you to everyone who is being so generous and helping us through these last few weeks.

Goodbye to our Furry Friend

Although 2009 has been filled with friends and family having babies, we have not been so lucky in the pet department. This morning we said goodbye to our dog Buddy. He was diagnosed with Cancer about a year ago and unfortunately, just couldn't fight it any longer.

We always referred to him as "the good one". Between him and Daisy, he was the one that didn't bark, didn't shed, always listened. He was just a really good dog. And we will miss having him around everyday.

Rest in peace, Bud.

4th of July Carnival

We went down to the local Carnival to ride a few rides and take in the sights with Rich, Holly and Zachary. The kids had a great time riding the rides and eating ice cream.

Greg hung out our flag this weekend and Natalie wanted to hang her flag on our deck too. I thought the two flags looked really cute together.

More pictures can be found on Holly's blog.

These are the last of the pictures. We had a great time.

If you look really hard, and read from right to left, you can see that Natalie wrote her name in the sand:
